Exciting English Reading Competition
On May 30th our school hosted an exciting English Reading Competition for students in grade 7. The event aimed to encourage students to develop their reading skills, improve their pronunciation, and build confidence when speaking English in front of an audience.
Each participant had prepared a short text from their favourite English book or the English school textbook and presented it with great enthusiasm. The jury, consisting of English teachers and students who won the competition last year evaluated the students based on fluency, pronunciation, expression, and overall presentation.
The competition was a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their talents and their love for the English language. The jury was impressed by the excellent performances, and the event inspired many students to read more English books in the future.
Congratulations to all the participants for their hard work! A special round of applause goes to our winners: Marlene Thalmeier 7b who took first place, and Charlotte Höng 7c who came in second. Well done to all the students who took part and showed such dedication and passion for reading!
A big thank you to all participants for making the event a great success!
